Meteorological Services can use your E-mail subject as a selection criterion for routing
incoming observations. Consult your Offshore Adviser, PMO or Meteorological Service.
Note
- If the code form is alphanumeric
(Maintenance -> Sation data -> ship -> alphanumeric)
and if the character string ddhhmm (literally) is a part of the subject field setting then this
(sub)string will be substituted in the final E-mail by the actual date and time of the
observation. (e.g. Obs E-mail subject setting: METEO ddhhmm -> E-mail subject in final
observation: METEO 171200). So ddhhmm substitution not possible in combination with
compressed code form.
